Quick Setup

  1. Install Charlie on GitHub
  2. Add CharlieHelps user to your repository
  3. Schedule activation call

Charlie won’t be responsive until we activate him during the call. Please complete steps 1 and 2 before scheduling your activation call.

1. Install the GitHub App

Install from Marketplace

Visit Charlie on GitHub Marketplace and click Install.

Select Repository

Choose the repository where you’d like Charlie to work. You can select multiple repositories if needed.

2. Add Charlie to Your Repository

Add Collaborator

In your repository, go to Settings → Collaborators and teams → Add people.

Invite Charlie

Search for CharlieHelps and click Add.

For organizations, give Charlie the Triage role.

3. Schedule Your Activation Call

Schedule Activation Call

Steve will activate Charlie and show you how to get the most value from the integration.
